The Masked Singer episode 5: New Rabbit, Unicorn clues

Are you ready for The Masked Singer episode 5 to arrive on Fox tomorrow night? Perhaps these new clues will help to guide you in that direction … though, in all honesty, some of the choices feel fairly obvious at this point already.

Rabbit – We see him with a basketball — clearly, he’s a fan of the sport in some way, since we certainly don’t think that he is tall enough to be a player and he has a voice like someone who sings for a living rather than someone who plays sports. The official Fox clue is “He’ll play the game for you if the price is right.” That’s a pretty strong indicator that he’s got a Price Is Right connection … which Joey Fatone does via a Las Vegas version of the show. For the record, though, so do Drew and Nick Lachey.

Unicorn – She opening a book at one moment, and then playing the piano the next. There’s a bluebird perched on the piano, which does raise a question as to what that is supposed to mean. Her clue is that graduated via the class of 1993 — for everyone guessing Tori Spelling out there, that makes some sense given that her Beverly Hills, 90210 character graduated in this year. (Spelling herself, however, graduated a little bit earlier.)

Lion – Her video clue is literally the same as the week before, which makes us wonder if they just didn’t film any additional ones with her. Her written clue, however, suggests that “her voice will take you hostage,” which makes us think that she’s been a part of some sort of hostage movie. If you look up “Hostage” on IMDb, this is a movie starring Bruce Willis … and also his daughter Rumer Willis. There’ve been some theories out there suggesting that this is Rumer, but this is the first time we’ve fully bought into them.

Alien – “She’s a whiz at interplanetary travel” is the written clue — the video clue is the same as the week before. Is she a probably a Jackson family member, whether it be La Toya, Janet, or someone else? Possibly so, given that there are some clues taking us in that direction, and The Wiz has some serious connections to the entire family.
