We knew that Kato Kaelin won what appears to be the second Power of Veto (read more about that here), and that meant he had an opportunity to change the nominees of Tom Green, Kandi Burruss (who was nominated after the exit of Anthony Scaramucci), and Jonathan Bennett (nominated because of the Head of Household twist). Now, we can confirm that Kato has saved … Tom! Kato and Tom are now the only two members of what we coined yesterday as the Island of Misfit Toys alliance, and we’re glad to see them sticking together even with most of the rest of the house in shambles.
Following this move, Ryan Lotchte nominated Joey Lawrence and he is now on the block in danger of going home. One of our favorite things we’re seeing in the game, by the way, is Joey trying to give Ryan, one of the most-decorated Olympians of all time, workout advice.
So who is actually going home at the moment? That’s where things get a little messy, mostly because the women have options. There are eleven people in the game and because of the way that the house is now structured, there are three people on the block and seven people voting at the eviction vote. The four women of Tamar Braxton, Lolo Jones, Natalie Eva Marie, and Dina Lohan could have the power — Dina’s not as close to the other three as those three are to each other, but it’s an interesting way to look at things. Tamar and Kandi Burruss are having issues, but this could be a chance for the women to get rid of a big threat in Jonathan and they know it. If they do opt to keep him it would be so they can hide their double-dealing for a while (remember the alliance shown last night), Joey’s an easy person to get rid of. Ricky Williams may actually end up being with some of the women anyway, given that he’s fed them a lot of information — including that the Joey nomination was done to throw people off the scent that Joey is close with Ryan and Jonathan.
The next stretch of time is going to be a mess — a glorious, beautiful mess.
