FBI episode 12 spoilers: A look at what’s coming in ‘A New Dawn’

FBI episode 12

FBI episode 12 is coming to CBS next week, and this is one that many people have been waiting to see for a good while now.

Why is that? Well, for starters this episode (entitled “A New Dawn”) was originally scheduled to air a little bit earlier this season, but it was swapped around. Then, things got a little bit crazier when last week’s new episode was delayed because of a Presidential Address. Episode 12 is actually airing next week without a new NCIS as a lead-in, marking the first time that we’ve seen that all season long. This should still be an exciting episode worth checking out though, as it will offer up an opportunity to see a timely case about extremism and the right way to properly confront it. Also, you’re going to get a chance meet OA’s sister over the course of it — she is a student at a university that is at the center of the case.

Below, CarterMatt has the official FBI episode 12 synopsis for you with some other information as to what’s coming up next:

“A New Dawn” – When an alt-right provocateur is murdered after giving a speech at a university in New York City, Maggie and OA investigate the school’s more extreme political groups and rely on OA’s sister, Amira (Cynthia Hamidi), a student, for help, on FBI, Tuesday, Jan. 22 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This episode should prove itself to be important at least in terms of understanding more of OA’s personal life. This is a man who devotes a lot to his job and because of that, it wouldn’t be all that much of a shock in the event we were to learn that he didn’t have the closest relationship with some of his family. Nonetheless, we think that there’s going to be an opportunity to watch them bond here, even if it does end up being in a somewhat-dangerous setting

Remember that one of the reasons why Derek Haas and Rick Eid came on board as showrunners for this season is because of the fact that CBS wanted there to be more of a personal angle for some of these characters. The idea here is to present the audience more of a sense of what makes them tick and how they act both while they are on and off the job. At least for OA, this episode could provide an opportunity to give us that very thing. We know that more will be coming for Maggie down the line.
