NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 episode 13 sneak peek: Kensi’s emotional case

The new sneak peek below gives you a good sense of some of what is coming, as you get some insight on the story of David. This is a man who is, at this point, just trying to do whatever he can in order to stay afloat. He was attacked while in the midst of presenting evidence that chemical weapons were used on civilians — obviously, there are some people out there who want to keep him silenced so that they can continue to do whatever they want. This is where the NCIS team, working alongside the Global Criminal Tribunal, comes into play. They’re going to try and locate the flash drive that contains the critical information.
At first glance, it seems as though the bad guys in this episode could’ve just picked the drive up and deleted its contents; yet, David tells them that most of the key information is encrypted and with that, they may not have been able to uncover it just yet. With that, there’s a reason for Deeks and the rest of the team to keep working to ensure that there is justice for David and his work was not in vain.
So why is this such an emotional Kensi story?
While Deeks and many of the other characters venture off for more information and clues on this case, she stays behind with David, hoping to collect more information but also to provide some emotional support to a man who just wants to speak to his wife. Unfortunately, that’s not all that easy given that she is on the other side of the world. This is a case with some huge ramifications, but on a personal level there’s something so important about making sure this man gets the closure that he needs. This could be where Kensi comes into play and how she starts to make some more decisions when it comes to her own life. This episode could have a larger impact than you would first think.
