Lethal Weapon season 3 episode 10 video: Cole really loves Die Hard 2

Lethal Weapon season 3 episode 10 is coming onto Fox Tuesday night — or at least that is the plan at present. There is a Presidential address scheduled for tomorrow night and, for the time being, Fox has not made its carriage plans for it clear. (Even if they do carry it, it isn’t scheduled until 9:00 — theoretically, Fox could still air Lethal Weapon in its 8:00 p.m. timeslot if they wanted to.)

Anyhow, for the time being, let’s get to actually discussing some of what looks to be coming up in this episode.

There are a couple of interesting things that we learn about in this sneak peek below — starting with the fact that Cole likes Die Hard 2 better than the original — which, for the record, is a Christmas movie. Meanwhile, we also learn a lot about both Cole and Erica’s mothers in this preview. For Cole, he was very close to his mom until she died years ago. Meanwhile, Erica’s mother is a prominent Senator, is going to be coming to town in order to take care of some work engagements. While it does seem as though Erica will see her, she’s being thought of as an afterthought in this situation more so than anything else.

We’re looking at this upcoming episode as a chance to build up the Erica / Cole relationship and learn a little bit more about the two of them in relationship to each other, and we’re assuming that there’s going to be a lot of fun material we’re going to have a chance to see over the next couple of episodes. They’ve got an interesting back and forth and Erica does seem to understand Cole rather well — even if there are a lot of specifics the two still do need to learn about one another. Consider this a great foundation to everything that could be coming up later.

(If, for some reason, Lethal Weapon does not end up airing on Fox tomorrow, we do have a feeling that it’s going to be coming up on the air not too long after the fact. Fox has other programming they want to get to on Tuesday nights later in the season.)
