Supernatural season 14 spoilers: Kurt Fuller returning for 300th episode

According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, Kurt Fuller will be making his first appearance since season 5 when Zachariah resurfaces on the big milestone hour. This character was an especially notable part of the fourth season of the show as an angel / frequent subject of ire from both of the Winchester brothers. Given that Dean seemingly killed the character years ago, it definitely dose pose the question as to how in the world he is back now.
Then again, does being dead within the world of Supernatural really mean anything anymore? For better or for worse (we’ve seen it both ways), this show has a tendency to find interesting ways to bring people back who have not been a part of the world for a while. It does help to create an unpredictable atmosphere and beyond that, it is a nice gift to many longtime fans who have been checking out this show forever and remember the earlier seasons fondly.
Fuller’s return is the second major announcement about the 300th episode, at least from a returning-character perspective — it’s also been confirmed that Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be coming back for the first time in years as John Winchester. For a lot of people out there, we know that this is a guest appearance that they’ve been eagerly looking forward to for a rather-long time. Isn’t it nice to actually have him back in action now in some capacity?
Supernatural still has more than half of its season 14 order to go — with that in mind, there’s certainly a lot to look forward do even when looking beyond the 300th episode. For evidence, you don’t really have to look any further than what’s going on with Michael taking over Dean again. Before we even get to the milestone episode, this is a situation that the show is going to have to deal with.
