Chicago PD season 6 episode 10 video: Ruzek goes to bat for Antonio

Originally, we thought that the plan going into this episode was for Voight to take the fall for what was going on with Antonio. He’s the sort of guy who will do whatever he can in order to protect the people working under him and that is commendable. Yet, at the same time we’ve come to learn over time that Chicago PD is about so much more than just one person, and Ruzek knows that Voight is already in a tight spot with so many strikes on his record already. This is where Ruzek is likely coming into play.
In this new preview below, you can see Ruzek doing what he can in order to claim responsibility for the incident that killed the suspect that was responsible for taking Antonio’s daughter. He claims that he and Voight were the only men on the scene at the time and that he killed him after getting into an altercation and feeling as though his life was threatened. Even though the man was unarmed, he still felt as though he was in enough danger to act.
It seems like, at least so far, that Adam has a consistent story for what happened. The challenge now is going to be keeping it that way. Ruzek will be more than likely questioned by a number of different people and organizations in order to ensure that the details stay the same and there are no larger problems that reveal themselves.
Basically, Ruzek better be ready to go through the ringer, all for the sake of helping Antonio get back on the straight and narrow.
