Outlander season 4 episode 10 video: Another moment for Jamie, Brianna

While you do wait to see some of what lies ahead in “The Deep Heart’s Core,” we’ve got a small preview for it now. If you look below (via E! News), you can check out a touching sneak peek focusing mostly on Jamie and Brianna. The two are in the midst of a discussion related to Claire, who is tending to her garden and emphasizing once more her magnificent green-thumb ability. This skill set is something that both parties are familiar with, albeit from separate timelines. Having a commonality in Claire makes it easier for the two to bond — they both know her and love her and with that, can share very separate experiences with her.
Jamie knows that Brianna came back to the past to look after her mother, but she does also make it clear to him in a rather-touching moment that she also came back for him. She wanted him to know, wholeheartedly, that this journey of hers was not just about trying to find her mom. She of course wanted something else out of it, and that is satisfying her own curiosity about her biological father and what he was like. Of course, we’re sure she would like the experience to be without all of the stress, pain, and hardship she has endured.
While this sneak peek is of course rather pleasant, there are some serious issues that need to be addressed within this episode — with one of the biggest ones being Roger. Our feeling is that at the time of this sneak peek, Bree is none the wiser when it comes to what happened to Roger and the misunderstanding there. Otherwise, we think she would be running off to try and find him! This episode is going to be in part about getting these characters to a point where they are (hopefully) looking for him. Yet, there are going to be some other surprises and issues that they encounter along the way. After all, Outlander is rarely a show with just one conflict; this is a living, breathing world and with that, there are often a number of things flying in your direction at all times.
