If you watched tonight’s new episode, then you know already that Raymond Reddington’s entire life is now different. He’s behind bars due to Elizabeth Keen and because of that, the new test becomes whether or not he can find a way to make this work for him. Can he actually get himself out of prison? We don’t exactly think that it’s going to be easy for him to make this a new season of Prison Break given that everyone knows who he is. These are people in New York who are going to treat him like the biggest prize imaginable. They’re not going to want to let him go under any circumstances.

Meanwhile, Liz Keen on the outside is going to do what she can in order to find more information about who he is, while also still trying to take out Blacklisters. She’s probably going to do what she can to maintain the relationship that she’s got with Reddington, mostly because she does still need information from him — even though she wants to learn his true identity in the process. As always, there’s a lot of good stuff happening with this show.

Below, CarterMatt offers up the official The Blacklist season 6 episode 3 synopsis with some more insight as to what’s ahead:

01/11/2019 (09:00PM – 10:00PM) (Friday) : While Liz (Megan Boone) and the Task Force track a notorious underground biohacker, Red (James Spader) initiates a strategy to extricate himself from a problematic position. Meanwhile, Cooper’s (Harry Lennix) integrity is tested with a difficult choice. Ken Leung and Becky Ann Baker guest star. TV-14 V

This episode is entitled “The Pharmacist,” and we don’t think we’re really delivering any sort of shocker here when we say that this is probably a reference to the Blacklister himself. That’s often the case with this show! The bigger challenge we imagine within this episode is seeing how Cooper is going to handle the delicate spot he’s in — he has to try and help a criminal in some way, if he wants to keep the Task Force going.
