The Flash season 5 episode 10 spoilers: Silver Ghost & and the search for a cure

Now that we’ve said that, though, it probably is worth noting that this version of Silver Ghost is very much different than the one that exists within the comic-book world. This iteration of the character is one that can manipulate engines and technology. We should also note that, despite the similar name, there is no correlation between this character and Silver Banshee over on Supergirl, who we do hope will return at some point in the future.
This episode, entitled “The Flash & the Furious” (watch a promo for it here) will also bring you an appearance from Weather Witch following her debut earlier this season. Unsurprisingly, she gets sprung out of jail to cause some more problems.

CAITLIN AND CISCO EMABRK ON A NEW JOURNEY – While Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) grapples with the revelation that Thawne (Tom Cavanagh) killed her grandmother, Team Flash must stop the formidable team-up of a newly sprung from jail Weather Witch (guest star Reina Hardesty) and Silver Ghost (guest star Gabrielle Walsh), a new meta-tech villain who can control engines and motorized technology. Meanwhile, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) discuss creating a meta-human cure. David McWhirter directed the episode written by Kelly Wheeler & Sterling Gates (#510). Can you actually cure meta-humans? It’s such an interesting question and it’s something that could really alter the course of the series as we know it. Based on what we know about the timeline right now, it doesn’t feel possible — though dampening powers is certainly something that gets refined. It does seem as though curing metas could make the world a little bit safer, but then you wonder what happens with people like Barry. What happens with him if every evil meta-human is stopped being the cure? It’s such an interesting ethical decision for characters to think about, and there is also no guarantee it is even possible.
