Outlander season 4: Behind the scenes with Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton

If you click on the link here (or just head over to the show’s official Twitter account), you can see a new peek at what it was like for Sam Heughan and Sophie Skelton to film some of the bee-hunting scenes out in the wilderness together. The two shared a good sense of humor with each other as they had a chance to play into what has been a very fascinating relationship to date. Brianna does love Jamie and, in turn, Jamie loves her, but it also doesn’t take away from the love Brianna has for Frank, the man who raised her. She comes via a different time and has very-different life experiences, but she did discover in the process of some of this hunt that she and her father may have a little bit more in common than she would’ve ever first thought.
These two are certainly going to need to maintain a close bond as they navigate through what is going to be a perilous situation this weekend following what Jamie did to Roger. Suffice it to say, Bree is probably not going to be too happy with him! We don’t think that it has all too much to do with the sentiment (him wanting to protect her at all costs) as it does the secrecy of it all. Brianna is not the sort of person who likes to be in the dark, and nor does she believe that she needs someone to ride out in the role of the protector. Understandably, she feels as though she is more than capable of taking on a number of major challenges herself or in more of a collaborative spirit.
Still, at least these two characters know from the bee-hunting scene that they can connect together and have fun; meanwhile, we also have had an opportunity via this video to see the relationship between Sam and Sophie, who clearly embraced the opportunity to work together and have a little bit of fun. That will certainly prove useful through all of the episodes to come.
