Outlander season 4 finale photo: What’s happening with Jamie, Claire?

Of course, Starz is going top make you wait for a little while to learn about everything that is coming up, but we do at least have a small tease now in the form of a photo! If you look below (via TVLine), you can see Jamie, Claire, and Young Ian all surrounded by some members of a nearby tribe. What’s going on here? It doesn’t look like some of the men and women featured here are particularly pleased, but there also isn’t anyone seemingly holding the three of them at gunpoint, either.
For those who are not familiar with the book series, we don’t want to give away too much; yet, at the same time we have a feeling that this is going to be an especially dramatic conclusion that has some characters making enormous decisions. You’re going to have a chance to really witness the evolution and personal growth of a few people who are very much different from who they were at the time in which they were in Scotland. Being in a place like North Carolina is going to change you and really, it has to. You don’t go into this sort of world expecting that you’re going to be the same exact person that you were months down the road.
Before we even make it to the finale…
Remember that there are some other hugely-dramatic stories that will be at the heart of the next new episode. For example, Roger is going to be doing whatever he can in order to ensure that he survives. After all, there’s really nothing else that he can do right now. Meanwhile, eventually some information is going to come out about what Lizzie told Jamie — which, in turn, leads to Roger being in this position. Brianna’s likely going to figure out that the man Jamie beat up with not Stephen Bonnet. Yet, will she be able to do anything about it in time for Roger to make it through okay?
