As you likely recall if you caught last night’s episode, Roger found himself in a terrible spot at the end of the episode. Not only was he beaten to a pulp by Jamie, but he was completely at the mercy of whatever was going to happen to him courtesy of Young Ian. Jamie gave him the responsibility of taking care of him and there are a number of different things that could come as a result of this.
For Roger, this could just be a story of survival, of him trying to find a way to move forward despite all of the terrible circumstances that he’d been handled. Yet, for everyone else this could be more of a story of finding a way to right this wrong. We know that when it comes to Brianna, she’s going to eventually find out the truth about what Lizzie did. Lizzie told Jamie that Bree’s assaulter was nearby, not realizing that Roger was not the guilty party. Now, Lizzie is going to admit much of this to Brianna and in the aftermath of that, they have some work to do when it comes to finding Roger before it’s too late. Meanwhile, you better be prepared to see what happens when Claire learns about what Jamie did — while we think that she understands his protective nature, she probably also thinks that he should have done a little bit more research before springing into action!
As a whole, there’s a lot of important stuff coming up, but the crazy thing here still remains that it’s probably only scratching the surface for the entirety of this season. There are a lot of highly-dramatic twists and turns that could be around almost every turn leading up to the finale. This is being promoted already as one of the most epic season-enders that we’ve had a chance to see with this show. Finding Roger is only going to be scratching the surface of what’s coming.
