Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 12 spoilers: Danny’s personal crisis

When Hawaii Five-0 returns with new episodes on Friday, January 4, there will be a devastating personal story with Steve McGarrett at the center of it. Moving into the episode that follows the coming week, meanwhile, the focus may be shifting over to Danny Williams. This character may be put in a difficult, devastating position after something terrible happens to his daughter Grace. This is someone who, per the most-recent episode, was off getting set to prepare for the next phase of her life in college. Depending on what happens in this episode, she may not have a life at all.

Below, the Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 12 synopsis offers up a little bit more information right now as to what you can expect to see moving forward:

“Ka hauli o ka mea hewa ‘ole, he nalowale koke” – MacGarrett and Five-0 support Danny and Rachel (Claire van der Boom) by determining what happened when Grace (Teilor Grubbs) gets into a life-threatening car accident and lands in critical condition. Also, Tani helps Koa (Kunal Sharma) when his rehab patient goes missing, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Jan. 11 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

As this episode goes along, we imagine that this investigation is going to get more and more intense for Danny as he tries to get more information as to what happened. Was the accident the result of something intentional? It may be a question that runs through his mind. The sad truth about being in this profession is that you do have a tendency to make enemies, even if you are just trying to do your job when the dust settles. The conflict of doing your job and what it does to anger criminals is certainly something to worry about.

As for what’s happening with Tani and Koa, we’re mostly just excited about this story since it gives us a chance to see the evolution of this particular relationship. After all, it’s already come a very-long way from where it was back at the start of last season when we were getting to know Tani for the first time.
