Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 11 spoilers: Chris Vance, David Keith return

There’s a chance that you may have known that Michelle Borth will be back on Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 11. Today, we’ve also learned that a couple of other notable names are stopping by! Chris Vance will be back as Harry Langford, and he’ll be joined by David Keith, who is making his first appearance on the show in ages as Wade Gutches. This episode has been described as Hawaii Five-0 meets The Expendables, as some of McGarrett’s longtime friends and associates are going to be joining him to help get justice for what happened on the fall finale.

Of course, remember that the events of the fall finale are unlike many that we’ve seen on the show to date. Steve is mourning the loss of Joe White, someone who he loved and cared about. They had a connection that went back many years and it’s going to be hard to move on following his death.

Below, CarterMatt has the full Hawaii Five-0 season 9 episode 11 synopsis with some more as to what’s coming:

“Hala i ke ala o’i’ole mai” – Still reeling from the murder of one of their ohana, Steve and Catherine (Michelle Borth), along with Danny, Junior and some old friends, Harry Langford (Chris Vance) and Wade Gutches (David Keith), hunt down the killer. Also, Tani and Grover investigate when a bag of human bones, discovered inside an abandoned storage locker goes missing, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Jan. 4 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

It certainly feels like now is the perfect time to bring Danny back into the fold — he was gone for this past episode and it’s going to be rather nice to have him back to be a part of the action. Meanwhile, it’s also nice to have some sort of side story here for Tani and Grover, which may serve as a rather-nice reminder that Hawaii Five-0 will still focus on some cases in Hawaii as opposed to just personal ones that take some characters to some other parts of the country. This is an integral episode, and one that could alter McGarrett’s life in a big way.

If nothing else, it does appear as though this episode will be a good one for longtime fans of the show — you’re seeing familiar faces who have been a part of the show throughout its run, and all of them could be important in one way or another.
