Survivor: David vs. Goliath finale video: The final six immunity challenge

David vs. Goliath

Given that the Survivor: David vs. Goliath finale is coming onto CBS come Wednesday night, obviously the network isn’t going to release aw whole lot of information in advance! They want to keep the story more or less as hush-hush as possible and for good reason.

In the video below, you can get a good sense of some of what is coming in one of the few things CBS is okay to show off — the final six immunity challenge. Here, you can see Angelina, Nick, Davie, Mike, Kara, and Alison all compete in a challenge that seems to be part physical and part mental. At the end of it, it seems as though both Davie and Kara are in the lead, but puzzles are the great equalizer with this show and we don’t believe that a small lead from a physical standpoint really matters all that much at all. It’s going to be a little bit more about what you do in figuring this said puzzle out.

What is exciting about the field of people left is that we’ve seen a number of them excel in challenges at some point during the season — even Mike, who has struggled during some of them, ended up being victorious at the end of this past episode. There are no complete challenge duds in the field this time around and we do think that this adds a welcome amount of challenge unpredictability into the mix. We do like to think that this matters.

As for who needs to win this challenge more so than anyone, we do think that it’s Davie and Nick at the top of the list. They’re the two last remaining Davids and it makes a good bit of sense for the remainder of the Goliath tribe to just target them and get them out one by one. Why wouldn’t they, given the fact that they are the biggest jury threats at the end of the game? They have a good argument and, to go along with that, they also have outstanding stories of how they made it to this particular point in the game.

Get settled in at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time tomorrow — after all, there is an epic three hours of Survivor entertainment coming your way!
