God Friended Me episode 11 video: The search for Falken

God friended me

This weekend, God Friended Me episode 11 is going to air on CBS and based on some early signs we’re getting, this one could be emotional. After all, this episode marks the 17-year anniversary of the death of Miles’ mother, and this could be a time when characters are forced to deal with a lot of weighty, emotional stuff.

Take, for example, the relationship between Miles and his father Arthur. Will Brandon Michael Hall’s character actually join his father in some of his annual rituals this year? That’s a suggestion point in one of the two sneak peeks below. Arthur realizes that the relationship between he and his son is in a slightly-better spot now than it was previously and because of that, there is potentially some more room for the two of them to share some memories and time together.

Unfortunately, we don’t think that there really is any guarantee of this happening, mostly due to the fact that Miles may be forced to deal with something that is both very unexpected and also very painful — a friend suggestion of the man responsible for his mother’s death. Why would the God Account send him this? This fells, at least on the surface, like the one suggestion that he will ignore without question. How in the world could he do anything else given what he’s been through? It’s certainly to make him think about and consider what he’s been doing in a way that he really hasn’t before.

Ultimately, this is going to bring us over to Falken, who is the mystery person who may be tied to all things related to the God Account. In the other sneak peek below, you’ll see Rakesh do his part in order to guide Cara and Miles over to a site that may offer up some clues … or at least what he thinks is a site. Things don’t go exactly according to plan. The search for this hacker has really been akin to finding a needle in a haystack as of late and we don’t exactly think that this is something that is going to stop at any point in the near future.

Consider this episode to be a pivotal one in the entire journey of these characters — really, no matter what happens during it. It’s a chance for all of these characters to put stock in their lives … while maybe also getting a few more teases about the God Account and other mysteries along the way.
