The Voice season 15: Advice for Kennedy Holmes, Kirk Jay, final 4

The Voice 15

Come Monday night, the final four contestants on The Voice are all going to hit the stage in hopes of impressing America one final time! If they do that, they have a chance of winning the grand prize and all of the fanfare that goes along with that.

New video on The Voice– Check out some of our advice for the remaining 4 contestants in the video below! Also, remember that you can subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube for some other insight and remember to view our official playlist.

So what can these remaining contestants actually do in hopes of getting the public’s favor and winning the title? In this particular article, we have some suggestions on that very subject all across the board!

Kennedy Holmes – She’s going to get a chance to perform a couple of times, so we hope that for at least her original song, she gets a chance to go up onstage and do something that is really fun that will perform well for her on the radio. This is the biggest thing that is actually going to help her in the long-term. She should be put on the track to stardom now, but the real question is whether or not there’s a radio single waiting for her at this point given how little time there’s been to create one.

Kirk Jay – This is really a case of Kirk just staying in his lane. He’s gotten this far doing big country ballads as his bread and butter and this is what consumers would buy from him after the fact. He could go uptempo on one occasion, but we’d stay right in his musical pocket throughout since country voters tend to really crave tradition.

Chris Kroeze – He’s gotta find a way to show off a little more vulnerability. While many of his performances to date have been solid, he’s also stayed in a comfort zone of mid-tempo rock / country songs that have appealed to both his and Blake Shelton’s base. That was apparently enough to get him here, but he probably does need to find another gear for himself if he wants to be declared the winner at the end of all this.

Chevel Shepherd – Continue to appeal to the old-school country crowd, and that includes doing something that’s a little bit more fun and really playing up her personality. Chevel is a great singer, but what’s really going to help her shine on the other side of doing this show is her wonderful enthusiasm and spirit. Country music is a genre where those with the biggest personalities often win big.
