Following tonight’s episode on CBS, are you interested in learning the official Magnum PI episode 11 return date? Rest assured, we’ve got more information on that very subject within!
Let’s of course start things off here with a reminder that there will for sure be more episodes coming up in the future. As we discuss in the video below (if you like this, subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube for more), there is going to be another ten episodes on the other side of the show’s fall run. That means that, in total, there will be twenty for this season as a whole.
The thing that we can tell you right now when it comes to a Magnum PI episode 11 return date is that there will be at least one episode coming on during the month of January. Why is that? CBS has already confirmed that there will be a new episode that is going to air following the AFC Championship Game. This marks an opportunity to get the Jay Hernandez series some more ratings at a time when it could use a bump. While the numbers for season 1 to date haven’t been poor, it hasn’t made an enormous splash, either. This is a chance to get the show some more attention as we gear up for whatever is going to come in the second half of this season. (More than likely, we re not going to see CBS make some sort of formal decision on the future of Magnum PI until we get around to the spring.)
So what do we want to see at this particular point in time? More so than anything, we just want to keep seeing this show embrace its fun side as it allows us opportunities to get to know some of its characters better. One of the strengths of the first season to date is that it has established this core group of people with Magnum, Higgins, Rick, TC, and Katsumoto — it’s a manageable group that can easily be built around. We know who these people are at the moment, so the next order of business is going to be trying to understand them better. We want to see what makes them tick and how they react when the chips are down.
Also, we of course want to see more of a full Hawaii Five-0 crossover given that it would be weird to not at least consider this. After all, we’re talking about a show here that films in the same state and there have already been some tiny crossovers across the season. Why not at the very least consider doing something a little bit broader involving the shows?
