SEAL Team season 2 episode 10 video: Is this the last stand-off?

SEAL Team season 2

As we approach SEAL Team season 2 episode 10 airing on CBS on Wednesday night, we have to be prepared for chaos. Beyond that, we also have to be prepared for death.

So what’s going on here? It’s really so simple as it’s the last potential hurrah for Jason Hayes and the remainder of his team as they look to take down cartel kingpin Andres Doza once and for all. Unfortunately for them, we don’t think that it’s going to be anywhere near as easy as they’d hope for a number of different reasons. For starters, Doza has a number of men and women working under him who are especially dangerous. Beyond that, he’s got the local government.

Basically, the way to look at this guy is like this: He’s made himself virtually untouchable just because he’s got so much money, powerful, and influence. He can blink his eyes and someone will do something for him. Maybe there are some who are impressed with him, but maybe there are others who are afraid. The challenge for Jason and the team is going to be just getting to him more so than anything else.

Given that this is SEAL Team, you have to expect that this episode (otherwise known as the midseason finale) is going to be all sorts of intense. There’s a chance that not everyone is going to get out of alive and beyond just that, there’s a chance that even the ones who do are going to find themselves struggling in the aftermath.

Will this episode be the end of the Doza arc?

It’s easy to draw that assumption just because this is the last story for the year … but we also have to be cognizant of the fact that the writers could easily opt to find some unique ways in which to bring this story back down the road. Personally, though, we do think it will be best after this for the writers to take the show in a different but still exciting direction — especially since you do still want to find some unique ways to shake things up with the series. The best formula, at least for us when it comes to SEAL Team, is to constantly alternate between giving us some really good stories out on deployment with a few that are set a little more locally. That way, you can get the best of both worlds and tell a panoramic story of life for these people … or at least one as close to reality as humanly possible.
