Chicago Med season 4 episode 10 promo: Natalie’s next move

As we move closer to Chicago Med season 4 episode 10 on NBC next month, it’s clear that Natalie Manning is facing a tough choice. After being left at the altar — and left to explain the wedding debacle to many without much of a clear explanation — can she really forgive Will Halstead? That’s not going to be the easiest thing in the world for her to do.

In the video below for the show’s January return, you can see Natalie being told that what Will did was a tremendous service for the FBI — after all, he was able to help them ensure that Ray’s operation was completely decimated. Yet, in the process of this the guy nearly died and may lose his relationship. If we’re Natalie, we wouldn’t be as upset about the fact that the wedding was cut off because of Will being put into protective custody; instead, we’d be infuriated that the information was kept from her. We understand rules / protocol and the like, but given how many times we’ve seen Will and Natalie bend the rules at the hospital, it’s still baffling that he wouldn’t just tell her and make it clear that he had to see this through. Maybe she would not have liked it, but this probably would have made it so that the wedding was pushed back until the other side of some of this drama.

As for some other things to be excited about via this promo, how can you not be intrigued with the prospect of Connor Rhodes punching someone in the face? There’s a lot to be excited about with Connor’s arc moving forward, especially since he and Ava seem to be in a much better place than they’ve been — though their relationship is still new. There could be complications that come via the two not knowing each other all that well outside of work. Beyond that, there’s also another storyline of intrigue coming with Robin Charles finding her way back to Chicago. We don’t think Connor’s going to be the sort to jump between different relationships but we are absolutely curious to see how he reacts to see Robin back around.

Beyond all of this, be prepared for some other relationship conflicts — and a chance over time to learn more about Dr. Charles’ past, whether it be in the midseason premiere or some other point down the road.
