FBI episode 10 preview: A look at what’s ahead in ‘A New Dawn’

FBI

What lies ahead on FBI episode 10? You’re going to get, for starters, a storyline that seems to be very much topical to 2018. To go along with that, this particular episode is also going to give you a chance to see OA’s sister play a major role. This episode seems to be fulfilling what was one of the original goals of Derek Haas and Rick Eid coming on board, and that was finding a way in order to properly ensure that there would be more opportunities to get to know the main characters. Your investment in them, after all, is going to be very much important in figuring out whether or not this is a show that you will continue watching well beyond this first part of the season.

Of course, there is also one other very-important thing that we should note right now when it comes to this episode — it’s the last one of the year for the show. There are many more coming, but given that you’re going to be waiting until 2019 in order to see them, you have to hope that this installment leaves you off on a high note. After all, this is a chance for the series to really prove itself and set itself up for all sorts of good stuff in the second half.

Below, CarterMatt offers up the full FBI episode 10 synopsis with a little bit more information as to what’s coming up:

“A New Dawn” – When an alt-right provocateur is murdered after giving a speech at a university in New York City, Maggie and OA investigate the school’s more extreme political groups and rely on OA’s sister, Amira (Cynthia Hamidi), a student, for help, on FBI, Tuesday, Dec. 11 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

By the end of episode 10, we do think that there’s a chance for a hugely important message here regarding extreme groups and the violent impacts that they can cause.

So what is the long-term impact for FBI?

At the moment, we’d describe it in one word above all others: Rosy. The series is doing really well and continues to draw good numbers, especially in total viewers. With that, we do at least think that there is a good chance that the show is going to get that second season — we already have a good foundation set here thanks to some of the cases we’ve seen.

Obviously, the moment that we’ve got some other news when it comes to FBI, we’ll have that information for you here. New episodes following this one will more than likely premiere in the new year.
