Next week on Riverdale season 3 episode 7, what we’re going to end up seeing is Archie in a very different position than he’s been all season. This is a guy desperate and taking off, scared of what could happen to him at just about every turn. It’s an installment where he is in grave danger and, to go along with that, he’s not the only character feeling that pain. Betty will have some struggles of her own coming up in this episode — she’s spent so much time focusing on the Gargoyle King but now, things are starting to take a turn for the worse.
For some more news, including the latest on Veronica’s business career, be sure to check out the full Riverdale season 3 episode 7 synopsis below:
INTO THE BELLY OF THE BEAST – Fearful that he will be caught, Archie (KJ Apa) hits the road and ends up at a farm outside Riverdale, where he meets Laurie Lake (guest star Riley Keough). Meanwhile, after Alice (Madchen Amick) takes extreme measures to ensure Betty’s (Lili Reinhart) safety from the Gargoyle King, Betty finds herself up against a formidable foe from her past. Finally, after learning that La Bonne Nuit is in trouble, Veronica (Camila Mendes) makes a risky business decision that could cost her everything. Cole Sprouse, Marisol Nichols, Mark Consuelos and Charles Melton also star. Alex Pillai directed the episode written by Janine Salinas Schoenberg (#307). Original airdate 12/5/2018.
There are obviously a number of reasons to be into this episode, whether it be the big stories for Archie and Betty and then also the fact that this episode should set up one of the last ones of the calendar year. Don’t expect a whole lot of resolution here. Instead, be prepared to watch things continue to find a way to build and accelerate in a dramatic way that leads up to a firecracker midseason finale, one that could wrap up some storylines and then also set up others within the new year.
Also, there is some appeal here in getting Riley Keough on the series. She’s a well-known performer and the thing to remember here is that Laurie Lake probably isn’t who she appears to be on the surface. You don’t cast an actress of her caliber on the show unless you’ve got a really-interesting role plotted out.
Remember that if you want to keep Riverdale on the air, watch live and be sure to stay actively engaged — luckily, we don’t think that many people out there are going to have any problem with that. This is one of the most action-packed and addictive shows that are out there.
