What’s coming up on A Million Little Things episode 9? We’re getting close to the end of the first half of the season, and we’re gearing up for an installment now entitled ‘Perception’ that could be especially important. This is one about the aftermath of big decisions and, to go along with that, characters having to realize that sometimes, it’s best to let people in even when it’s difficult. Does this feel like a lesson people should learn at some point early in life? Sure, but sometimes there are little roadblocks that happen along the way.
Below, CarterMatt does have the A Million Little Things episode 9 synopsis with some other news when it comes to what’s ahead:
Gary has trouble dealing with Maggie’s life-changing decision, which takes him back to when Jon was there for him during his chemo treatments; Rome finally opens up to his dad about his internal struggles; and Katherine battles balancing being a working mother without Eddie.
This episode is going to lead in some ways into episode 10, which will be Christmas-themed and some way and could end up being the biggest installment of the entire season. This could be the episode that ultimately defines, one way or another, precisely how the remainder of the series goes. It’s also going to be the one that needs to retain viewers perhaps more so than any other. The holiday hiatus is when a lot of new shows falter, but this is one that doesn’t have a whole lot of room to lose any of its audience.
As a bonus, check out what’s coming in the Christmas episode:
With the holidays quickly approaching, Delilah struggles with telling Sophie and Danny about her pregnancy; and although Jon’s absence makes this time of year especially difficult, the gang comes together to help the Dixons embrace the Christmas spirit.
Excited yet? We certainly hope that it will be emotional, heartfelt, and basically anything and everything that we’ve seen on the series over the years.
What does the future hold for the show?
At the moment, we know that A Million Little Things has a full-season order and beyond that, the future still feels like it’s up in the air. While the live+same-day ratings are not exactly great, at the same time it is performing very well in DVR viewership. As reported yesterday, this show is posting the second-biggest percentage gains in DVR viewing out of any network show. That’s impressive, and if it continues that could help to get the series a season 2.
Of course, we’ll have more news on the future of the series when it is out there.
