Netflix teases Fuller House season 4, Sabrina holiday special in new promo

Netflix ratings

For everyone out there eager to see some of the first real footage of Fuller House season 4, we’ve got a (tiny) look at it below!

What you can see in the attached “It’s Beginning to Look Like Netflix” holiday sizzle is a small look at the show’s upcoming holiday episode, which could help to make season 4 shine when it premieres on Netflix on December 14. While this is no substitute for a full-fledged trailer (or even a regular promo), a few seconds of footage is better than no footage at all. It reminds you of how the Tanner-Fuller family tends to get down and celebrate the holidays in the most festive fashion imaginable. Holiday specials for sitcoms are important — they are the rare sort of thing that you sit down and watch with your whole family and they never get old … provided that you only see them once a year.

Fuller House season 4 is going to be in some ways a season of change. After all, over the course of it you will see Stephanie prepare to become a mom for the first time, and beyond just that some of DJ’s family is finding itself back in San Francisco on a more permanent basis. This will continue to be a celebration of Full House as it was for many years, but hopefully also pushing it still forward in a modern direction. It’s family comedy and Netflix realizes that this is not something that they have a whole lot of in some other corners of the internet.

What else is there coming up?

Beyond just Fuller House season 4, Netflix also has in here a small preview for the upcoming Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale, which is also going to be coming on the streaming service next month. The announcement of this special came as a little bit of surprise, given that there wasn’t a whole lot of hype around it during much of its production. It marks a chance to establish a somewhat-creepier tone around the holiday, while also giving us a chance to have a little more fun with this particular cast. Given that this is also a brand-new show, why not do something to get your audience more engaged in the early going?

Beyond what we’ve mentioned here, this preview is great if you just want to see the mixture of new series and specials, both old and new, that the streaming service is now bringing to the table. All in all, signs point towards this being an exciting, festive affair, and we’re looking forward to see what is coming up next.
