The Cool Kids episode 8 return date: The ‘Cradle Robber’ story
Let’s start things off, though, with the bad (and predictable) news: There is no new episode next week, which does make a reasonable amount of sense given that it’s Black Friday and, in general, this is a time in which most shows take the week off. Nobody wants to compete against holiday shopping, sleeping after a long day of holiday shopping, or traveling following a Thanksgiving celebration. The majority of network shows are off the air next week are off the air for a reason.
The news that’s a little bit more surprising (and also terrible) is that The Cool Kids episode 8 is not going to be airing until you get around to December 7. What that means is that there’s no new episode on November 30, either. This is a series that is following the lead, more or less, of Last Man Standing, and that does make some sense. This is one of the biggest reasons why the show got off to a great start in the first place, and this is also one of the reasons why Fox has given it a full-season order already. We do want to remain hopeful that there is going to be even more of the series ordered down the road (think in terms of a season 2), but it is a little bit too early to know that one way or another. The best thing Fox can do for it, of course, is continue to give it the best lead-in possible.

But after rifling through her things, they fear this relationship could be something much worse – a pregnancy trap – in the all-new “Cradle Robber” episode of THE COOL KIDS airing Friday, Dec. 7 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Is this a story worth waiting for? If nothing else, this is a chance for the series to explore a few different dynamics. Given that so much of the series was set up from the onset to be about age, it only makes sense that the writers find some new ways to explore it. This is a good example of that, and while this storyline does actually feel like it could be rather dark on a different sort of show, our hope here is that there will be some situations for some rather-fun comedy.
