NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 9 will take a look at a double life

So what’s happening here? The title is “Risk Assessment” and over the course of this hour, you’re going to have a chance to see the team investigate someone who managed to live out his days with two different families — including two wives! We’re not entirely sure just how this is possible, given polygamy laws and whatnot; yet, that is probably one of many different objectives that will be looked at over the course of this episode. We’ll have an opportunity to see the NCIS team look further into the case — but given that the man with said double life is the murder victim, it doesn’t seem to be all that hard to figure out someone would have an ax to grind with this guy. Imagine the rage of one (or both) of these wives, one of the kids, or even one of his friends when they learned that he has been pulling something like this for so many years!

“Risk Assessment” – The NCIS team investigates the murder of a Navy contractor who, unbeknownst to anyone, lived two lives for decades, with two wives, families and careers, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Dec. 4 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
This episode is most fascinating from a mystery point of view; it could just be about trying to point out the list of suspects and slowly but surely narrowing it down. We also have to say that insofar as episode titles go with this show, this one feels especially ironic. Wouldn’t you think that this sort of situation is something that needs a little bit better risk assessment? We certainly do. As a matter of fact, it feels almost to us like any sensible person would know that this isn’t worth the risk — of course, any sensible person also would have more of a heart. This is just an awful thing to do to people!
Anyhow, we are excited to dive into the mystery of this episode further … though it is clear that we’re going to be waiting for this one for a little while. At least there is a new episode airing on CBS Tuesday to help tide us over!
