How to Get Away with Murder season 5 fall finale: Who’s dead?
Given that How to Get Away with Murder is the series that doesn’t want you to have nice things, this series has been setting up since the very start of this season a combination of really good and really terrible news. The good news is that Connor and Oliver are going to be tying the knot. This is an event that has been a long time coming and it is a cause for some happiness … or at least it really should be. The problem here is that it’s super hard to be really excited when it comes to a wedding when someone could be dead on the other side of it. Finally, the flash-forwards are going to be restored and on the other side of that, the remaining characters will figure out a way to pick up the pieces.
We know that How to Get Away with Murder is the sort of show that loves to create those sort of jaw-dropping Twitter moments. Yet, we also know along the way that there needs to be some substance behind them; some metaphorical meat on the bone. We hope that there’s a chance for the death to make sense, even if it doesn’t in the moment, and that this works to push the story forward. If we were one of the people around Annalise, one of the things that we’d say is that they should just run as far away from this mess as possible.

In the explosive winter finale, Connor and Oliver’s big wedding day has arrived, but there’s murder in the air; and the mystery of who the unlucky victim is will be revealed.
No matter what happens in the finale, rest assured that things are going to be crazy and/or potentially heartbreaking. We’re pretty much prepared for anything when it comes to this series but there is one interesting phenomenon we’re starting to experience here — the longer that this show goes along, the more it’s becoming difficult to lose some of these people. They may not be the most likable characters in the world but they are our characters. There’s a sense of loyalty and attachment here that we didn’t have many years ago when people were killed off.
