Chicago Fire season 7 episode 6 video: Brett, Foster, & Halloween gone awry

With today being Halloween (hope it’s a great one!), it’s fair to say that the folks over at Chicago Fire will be rather busy. After all, this is the time of the year where pranks have a tendency to run a little bit rampant.

The best example of this can be seen at the start of the sneak peek below, where Brett and Foster arrive to a residential neighborhood, thinking that they’ve run into someone seemingly bleeding out due to a garage-door incident. Yet, soon after that it’s revealed that this is just some decoration at its finest designed to fool people.

The real trouble is actually coming from inside one of the homes, where a little girl is in need of serious medical attention … and it’s not because she ate too much candy. Instead, it’s because some of the candy seems to have drugged her, which is causing her to show symptoms of being extremely high. That’s why checking all of the candy is imperative if you are a parent, since you never know what someone else is going to be doing around you. This is the environment where terrible things can happen to kids in a very short amount of time and given that kids visit so many houses, it can be rather tough in order to find the responsible party. The stakes here could vary depending on if this is an accident, or this is something that was done intentionally.

Beyond the events of the sneak peek, the photo above helps to introduce someone new to the series in Teddy Sears, who is taking on the role of a Chaplain. Given that way that he and Brett are meeting each other, you do have to wonder if this is something that could lead to a larger relationship. Given that we know Brett may have a new love interest at some point this year, this is certainly something that could be a possibility.
