Big Brother 28: What is the BB Time Capsule?

Tonight on Big Brother 28, we got a small taste of what is ahead courtesy of a new twist: The BB Time Capsule. With that being said, what is it?

Well, we should note that this is a twist that is going to be playing out over the course of the first several weeks of the season — and America is going to have a say when it comes to it. (They claim that it will be “game-changing.”) Given that Dee, Rick, and Angela are all of the season together, that could mean that we are really going to have just one twist after the other.

So what does the BB Time Capsule do? Well, here is what CBS had to say on their voting site:

Each week, the BB Time Capsule gives one Houseguest the chance to win a power or suffer a punishment from Big Brother’s past!

The player with the most votes each week, will play a fast-paced game to try and earn the power they desire. But with 6 powers and 6 punishments up for grabs, they could just as easily end up with a punishment!

Think carefully about who you want to send and when, because a houseguest is only eligible to enter the BB Time Capsule once!

The winning Houseguest will enter the Time Capsule on Friday, July 17th. Vote now for who you want to send!

Basically, this is something that could help the houseguests but at the same time, also hurt them. It feels like this is pure randomness and that in itself could be a challenge. A fan favorite, after all, could end up dooming themselves in the game.
