Chicago Fire season 7 spoilers: Meet new character Gordan

Here’s what we know: According to a new report coming in right now via Deadline, Jordan Belfi (who is appearing on All American in a recurring role) is going to be around in a similar capacity on the NBC show. Gordan is, per the official description, “an intelligent, hot-headed and privileged businessman who is fierce in the boardroom.”
So who could this guy be in the broader sense of things with these show? Based on what we’re hearing, it’s hard to really imagine him being a love interest to anyone — then again, we do also know that Brett could be meeting someone a little bit later this season. It’s possible that he is connected to a business venture for one of the characters — we’ve already see Joe Cruz try to get things going in this field. It’s also just possible that he is a business titan who is involved in some sort of fire rescue and he ends up getting at odds with 51 and some of the higher-ups within the Chicago Fire Department.
All in all, the one thing that feels reasonably clear is that this is a character worth watching out for in the midst of what is hopefully going to be an exciting seventh season the rest of the way. Chicago Fire has done a good job of telling some fascinating stories featuring many of its characters, ones that often tow the line between being super-serious and also having a little bit of comedy. Fingers crossed that’s something that doesn’t go away.
