Chicago Fire season 7 episode 6 preview: Halloween, Firehouse 51 style

Granted, we don’t quite think that this is going to be a Halloween episode similar in many ways to others that we’ve seen on other shows. When you’re a first responder, October 31 is often the cause of problems rather than an escape from them. People are wild and uninhibited, and that leads to them often doing stupid things. Over the course of this episode, we’ll see many characters (especially Brett and Emily, apparently) have to take on some of this stupidity. We feel for them as they try to pull some people out of some pretty serious binds.
While the two are out in the field, though, it doesn’t appear as though life at Firehouse 51 is going to be any easier. For some more thoughts, check out our Chicago Fire season 5 episode 7 synopsis below:

Is Gorsch the most underrated character on Chicago Fire? In some ways, absolutely not because the dude is the worst. Yet, he serves a rather specific purpose: He gives the audience a common enemy and someone to universally hate. That’s something that is very much appreciated with a series like this. It’s nice to have someone we all can loathe and want to root against — also, it’s fairly clear to us that this guy won’t be looming over Boden and all of 51 forever. With this guy’s ego, he’s sure to screw himself over sooner rather than later.
