Criminal Minds season 14 episode 6 is titled ‘Luke’; be afraid?
What’s the reasoning behind that? It’s really so simple as the episode’s title in “Luke.” Anytime that the CBS series decides to name an installment after a character, it’s a pretty-clear sign that there are some terrible things that are going to happen to them. “Derek,” for example, set the stage that led to Shemar Moore leaving the series. Meanwhile, “Spencer” put into motion the events that led to him being behind bars for an extended period of time. The writers don’t entitle this “Luke” for any reason other than that it may be the most important case that Alvez has done since Adam Rodriguez first joined the series.

Below, the Criminal Minds season 14 episode 6 synopsis does offer up a little bit more information and insight regarding what’s next:
“Luke” – The BAU heads to Bethesda, Md., to investigate four murders in the span of three days along the eastern seaboard. The crimes become personal for Alvez, when the team discovers there are ties to his time spent five years ago working alongside the DEA and the Mexican police force in pursuit of the most notorious hitman in Mexico. Also, Alvez and his girlfriend, Lisa (guest star Daniella Alonso), decide to move in together, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Nov. 7 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series star Joe Mantegna directed the episode.
This synopsis makes it clear that Alvez and Lisa are still together, which is mostly worthwhile to know since there haven’t been many updates in a while on that … but we also have a hard time thinking that this episode is called “Luke” because he makes a big decision with his girlfriend. It probably is going to have something more to do with what happened in his past.
