When Criminal Minds season 14 episode 4 airs on CBS in one week’s time, recovery could be at the center of it. Or, at least a hope of a recovery.
The truth here is that all characters are vulnerable; they just express it in different ways. While Penelope Garcia has been in grave danger well before this season, it’s not an everyday part of her life like it is with some other people in the BAU. That’s something that they are forced to deal with on an almost-constant basis, and she may need a little bit of help to tackle some of her demons.
In some ways, what’s helpful about the people who surround Garcia is simply this: People like Reid, JJ, and Prentiss know techniques to deal with these sort of situations. They have been through this before, and they understand the pain and the fear it can cause. While their situations are not identical to Garcia’s and they are different people, they are a part of her BAU family. They want to do what they can for her.
For some more news regarding Criminal Minds season 14 episode 4, CarterMatt has the full synopsis for you below:
“Innocence” – Soon after the BAU steps in to help local law enforcement isolate a prime suspect for a ritualistic murder in Tallahassee, Fla., a second person who is related to the first victim is killed under similar circumstances. Also, Prentiss is concerned about Garcia’s behavior in the aftermath of her abduction and has an idea of how to help with the healing process, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Oct. 24 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The case at the center of “Innocence” could certainly prove to be interesting, but it’s also hard to promote that in contrast to Garcia. After all, it’s not every day that we get a more personal story for her and Prentiss. At this point, it should be old hat for the BAU to try and catch some dangerous / creepy people.
