911 season 2 episode 6 preview: A bodybuilding show, a toddler pageant, & more

Next week, 911 season 2 episode 6 is going to offer up an opportunity to see a number of different interesting components wrapped into one. You’re going to have emergencies at three different places, and all of them are going to be interesting … presumably in how some of these end up coming about.

Of course, beyond just that there are a wide array of different personal stories that this show will also take on. Take, for example, Athena and Bobby taking on some difficult parts of their lives. Beyond just that, this episode is going to offer up a chance to learn more about Maddie’s difficult past — which she is trying to get away from in Los Angeles with this new career. We hope that she is able to escape from some of this now, and we hope that she’s successful at it — we’re also just worried, mostly because this is a show where terrible stuff always tends to surface at the worst possible time. She could come over, start to get comfortable, and then something utterly devastating could come down the line. That’s just the sort of thing that we have to be prepared for now.

When the first responders race to the rescue of a crashed news copter, they unwittingly become the subject of an eager reporter’s first on-air assignment. Meanwhile, Bobby tries to deal with his daughter’s death, as Athena prepares for May’s homecoming dance. Then, Maddie struggles to let go of her fear of the past. Also, the team responds to emergencies at an eating contest, a bodybuilding competition and a toddler pageant in the all-new “Dosed” episode of 9-1-1 airing Monday, Oct. 22 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. At the moment, we’re wondering if this eating-competition emergency is one of the grossest that we’ve seen on the show over the years.
