SEAL Team season 2 episode 3 video: A funeral and Jason’s breaking point
The promo focuses on a funeral, on Jason in pain, and in the end, the narration makes it clear that you will see David Boreanaz’s character his breaking point. What does that really mean? Based on everything that we’re seeing and hearing right now, we better be prepared to say goodbye to Alana. She and Jason may not have been together anymore, but she was still an enormous part of his life and nothing that happened between them would have ever changed that.

Basically, this episode will be one of the worst days of Jason’s life; he has experienced a lot of difficult things overseas, but it’s the stuff that happens at home that hurts the most. This is what could change his entire outlook on everything.
As for why we could be losing Alana, the simple answer is that Michael McManus has a new show elsewhere in NBC’s upcoming The Village. It’s hard to continue to see her here given her new gig elsewhere, and we also think the writers probably thought this was a better ending to her character’s story than her just disappearing — that would have felt out-of-character for her. It would have been too strange if this character suddenly was not a part of the story anymore.
