Chicago PD season 6 episode 4 preview: ‘Ride Along’ & Burgess’ choice

Chicago Pd season 5 teaser

Want to know what lies ahead on Chicago PD season 6 episode 4? Rest assured that there is another big installment coming up next week. Specifically, this time around we’re gearing up for something that is going to test Burgess in particular. We do like the fact that the writers are giving us so many different character-focused storylines this season, even if they only are getting a few minutes of air time an episode. After all, Chicago PD is still a procedural show, and they are going to continue to allow some of the cases to get the majority of the time.

What may make this episode different is that Burgess’ struggle could be at the center of also the main case. Basically, you re getting both things you want at the same exact time.

Below, the Chicago PD season 6 episode 4 synopsis offers up a little bit more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

10/17/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : A ride along goes sideways, and Burgess (Marina Squerciati) is faced with a difficult choice: follow the advice of Voight (Jason Beghe), or a potential new ally. TV-14 L, V

The big problem for Burgess is simply this: Going against Voight is not the easiest thing in the world to do, mostly because it doesn’t tend to go well in Intelligence. He is a logical person at times, though, so if Kim can convince Hank that what she is doing is for the sake of the greater good, he may be able to get on board with it. It doesn’t have to be an either/or situation, even if that is what it seems to be on the surface. Sometimes, things within the One Chicago world are a little bit more complicated.
