Typically, we like to go over possible meanings for episode titles and how they can be traced back to various characters … but what do you do with an episode entitled “Orgy Pants to Work”? Where do you go from there? It sounds like some sort of X-rated fashion trend sweeping the nation. It’s also hard to relate it to any particular character, though it’s probably closer to Lucifer Deckerstar than some of the other people at the LAPD.
For those wondering about the director for this episode, Louis Milito has done a number of excellent episodes of Lucifer to date — think in terms of “High School Poppycock” or “Chloe Does Lucifer.” This is going to be an hour jam-packed with humor, though it will also likely tie into everything else that is coming up in this upcoming story. With Lucifer season 4 only having ten episodes, this probably means that there will be a tighter, more serialized story even if there are some case-of-the-week elements sprinkled in throughout.
