Chesapeake Shores season 3 finale spoilers: Abby, Trace’s future
What’s one of the major forces pulling the two of them apart? It’s mostly what each one of them wants out of their lives, which is a pretty understandable and emotional thing for them to think about. If Trace wants to go on tour, it’s the sort of thing that makes it harder for their relationship to be what it was. Neither one of them is necessarily wrong for wanting some of what they do out of life, but they are going to have to figure this out soon unless they want to avoid some heartbreak … which does feel natural here and there for a show that is airing on this particular network. It’s one that, after all, does like you to feel things.
On the eve of the Chesapeake Shores Regatta, with Mick recruiting family members to join him on the water, Abby finally has to make a decision whether or not to break up with Trace for good. Meanwhile, Bree’s relationship with Simon is rocked when Caroline appears, and David and Jess have to finally figure out their relationship without the B&B. In a surprise twist, a letter from Ireland might decide Nell’s future.
Is it possible that we get some sort of big cliffhanger at the end of the finale? We’re not ruling that out, mostly because this is the sort of show that loves to keep you guessing … and also keep you watching more in the future.
