Poldark season 4 episode 2 preview (PBS): Ross, Demelza look for normalcy

What lies ahead on Poldark season 4 episode 2 when the series returns to PBS in one week’s time? Above all else is going to be Ross and Demelza doing just about everything that they can in order to ensure that they can get on the same page again … if at all possible. Remember that these are two people who do love each other, but have also been through so much together that it may be rather difficult for them to recover from it. We do hope for some forward movement, but also recognize that some of the demons from their past may come back to haunt them.

As for what else is coming during this particular episode, be ready for some good news when it comes to Dwight and Caroline, but also some rather challenging news for Ross as he faces a possible future in politics front and center. At the end of this particular installment he will be faced with a pretty important decision to make, one that could largely define some of his future.

The Poldarks determine to get their relationship on track, and the Enyses announce they’re expecting a child. Hugh’s health prevents him for standing in the election, so the candidacy is offered to Ross, but will he accept?

Will there be good news on the other side of some of these stories? Well, we consider Poldark to be largely a story all about peaks and valleys. There are going to be some dramatic, tear-jerking moments, but there will also be a few that cause some people out there to celebrate. This is a show that is very much used to giving you a wide array of emotions; that’s not going to change at any point in the near future.
