Bull season 3 debate: When should new ‘hacker’ character debut?
As we reported recently, the CBS series is going to be introducing a new character coming up in the future named Taylor, someone who has a different energy than Cable did and will not treat the job exactly the same. Cable would’ve done anything for TAC, but we do think that Taylor is looking at the job more as just that: A job. It’s something that she goes to work in order to do, or at least that’s the way she has been presented.

So when could this character be presented? In some ways, we have to think that it will be soon, judging from the fact that we have to have a hacker at TAC in order for it to run properly. Yet, simultaneously you don’t want things to move so fast that nobody grieves Cable at all.
Personally, we feel like at some point over the next few weeks (though not immediately), you could bring Taylor on board and have it be okay. Granted, you could introduce her sooner, but only if there was some intentional awkwardness written into the scripts. We don’t exactly think that anyone at TAC would intentionally be rude to someone coming in and joining their family, but we do certainly think that they would be cautious or somewhat-hesitant to welcome them in with open arms.
(For the record, we know that Cable wasn’t only a hacker — that just tends to be the easiest way to explain these sort of characters.)
