Blue Bloods season 9 episode 2 preview: Frank, Baker team up
Is Baker the most underrated character on the show? It feels that way given that we’ve heard from many a diehard supporter of the unsung hero over the past year or so. There were major fears ahead of the episode where the character was thinking about leaving; suffice it to say, we’re happy she is still around, and we do hope to go along with this that the producers continue to find new ways to do that. This does seem to be a focus next week, as her and Frank are going to team up for a big investigation. If that wasn’t enough to excited you, then also know that this said episode will also feature Bebe Neuwirth, something that should excite many a Kelly / Frank ‘shipper, as well.
Below, the Blue Bloods season 9 episode 2 synopsis offers up a little bit more information when it comes to the series:
“Meet the New Boss” – Gormley looks to Danny and Baez for help tracking down a former NYPD detective he believes may be a threat to Frank’s safety. Also, Erin navigates office politics when she chooses to reopen a closed case; Jamie is transferred to a new precinct with a lot of problems; and Frank and Baker team up to investigate a complaint about an SVU detective, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Oct. 5 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Bebe Neuwirth returns as Kelly Peterson, the corporation counsel who handles civil claims against the department.
Is there going to be a lot of Jamie and Eddie in this episode? Given that Eddie isn’t even mentioned and Jamie could be on the move, we do have questions. Yet, it does feel like the producers are building a larger story this season for the two, so we wouldn’t have any long-term concerns if she does not have much in the way of a big role.
