Jersey Shore Family Vacation Part 2 episode 8 preview: Seaside Heights reunion
Next week on MTV, we’re going to be seeing some of your favorite familiar faces head back to where it all began — with that, you’ll have a chance to cherish some nostalgia and see how much life has changed in Seaside Heights since they were last there on the original series.
There hasn’t been all that much time spent there as of late, but there is a good reason for that — the town of Seaside Heights as a whole isn’t as open to the idea of filming as they once were. Seaside is a little less willing to allow filming permits these days — while Jersey Shore really put their town on the map, these days it feels more like they are trying to brand themselves as a family town. With that, most of the show’s cast members are only going to be around for an episode or two, at most. Afterwards, they are going to be heading elsewhere in Jersey for a good chunk of the remainder of this season.
So what other things should you think about? Ronnie’s status is one of the bigger ones, mostly because we imagine that he is not going to be around for a rather sizable chunk of what is coming up next. In the midst of everything that is going on with Jen, is he really going to be able to leave Las Vegas for a sizable period of time? That’s the thing about this season, though — it’s a little less the standard Jersey Shore season, as it feels like production is integrated more into the natural lives of a number of the different contestants.
