Jersey Shore star Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley divorcing Roger Mathews
According to a report from App.com, Farley has filed for divorce from her husband of the past few years in Roger Mathews. The filing cites irreconcilable difference as the reason for the split, and there were some arguments that were there over the past several months.
This news is terribly sad, but it does add a little bit more when it comes to context as to what transpired with Jenni on this current season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. While there hasn’t been much of a focus on Jenni’s marriage on the show, it is clear that she is struggling when it comes to some of her relationships in the house. It has felt like she’s been battling some things for a little while now and it’s heartbreaking. Jenni and Roger do have two young kids together, and through this season you’ve had a chance to see precisely how much she cares for them — she’s willing to fly back across the country to make sure that she is there for a doctor’s appointment. (That’s the real reason that she left Vegas, and not because of a fight she was having with Snooki.)
This filing first came about a couple of weeks ago, so it was clearly something that she was hoping to keep quiet about for a good while. There may be more comments on it in the future, and the one thing that I know for sure is that she will have plenty of support from her fellow cast members. They’ve become a huge family over the years and it’s hard to imagine that ever changing, even when there is a little drama sprinkled in.
