Chicago Fire season 7 episode 2 preview: The crossover begins

Chicago Fire season 7

Next week Chicago Fire season 7 episode 2 is going to do what it can to try and move forward from Dawson. With that, it is also going to be kicking off a three-part crossover event like no other.

It’s obviously worth noting here that one thing that stands out with this premiere is a change in timeslot. Chicago Fire is going to air next week at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. It’s a one-time move, but also a necessary one since the events you see on this episode will roll over into what happens with both Chicago Med and Chicago PD. These episodes will feature one of the biggest fires that you’ve seen on any of these shows, and it’s going to quickly turn personal to some members of the Firehouse 51 team.

For some more news on what you can expect to see, we suggest that you take a look at the Chicago Fire season 7 episode 2 synopsis below:

10/03/2018 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : In the first part of a three-show, one-night crossover event, Firehouse 51 is faced with a daunting challenge when an out-of-control blaze consumes a 15-story apartment complex, trapping victims on the top floors. Complicating the rapidly escalating situation, members soon discover that someone close to home may be one of the trapped victims. TV-14 V

There’s not too much more that can be said about this crossover without giving away a big spoiler, so we should just go ahead and say this instead: This may not end up being the only crossover that you have a chance to see this season. There could be another one later on down the road, but it is currently too early for anything to be confirmed as of yet on that subject.
