The Flash 100th episode spoilers: Will familiar faces return?

The Flash

The Flash season 5 is getting an opportunity to do something very much exciting in the near future — the 100th episode lies ahead! This is an installment that should honor much of what came beforehand, but at the same time also continue what is going on in the present. There is an epic story being waged for season 5, one in which comic-book baddie Cicada is being brought on board as the central villain. To go along with that, you also have Iris West-Allen set for a larger role. We’re going to have a good chance to get to know a lot about her, and also hopefully understand more of why she is in the past in the first place.

While you aren’t going to get too many explicit teasers on the 100th episode at the moment, executive producer Todd Helbing had the following to say via TVLine:

“It’s a big thing to get the opportunity to make 100 episodes of television, so you want to pay back the fans for tuning in, and give them some old faces to look at … The mythology of the season will still be part of the 100th, [but also] you should see some people that you’ve seen in the past.”

So who would we like to see? Some of the names suggested in the video would be a nice start, but just to list out a few specifically here, it would be great to see Earth-2 Harry, Leo Snart, Jesse Quick, Wally West, or Julian Albert. Basically, we’d like to see characters who appeared in sizable chunks of the story and because of that, had an enormous impact on the story as a whole.
