Bull season 3 star Michael Weatherly on challenges for CBS actors post-Les Moonves exit
In the video below (via the Associated Press), you get a sense of how Bull star Michael Weatherly is trying to weigh the complications of all of this. He admits that he still trying to process everything, just as he also recognizes that Moonves and the executive team at CBS helped to change his entire career. Weatherly was on NCIS for many years before going over to Bull and CBS supported these shows extensively.
Ultimately, it is up to Weatherly and every other CBS actor to draw the judgments and conclusions that they wish from the situation. Ultimately, you can recognize the impact that executives like Moonves can have on your career while also recognize the hurt and pain caused by some of their alleged actions. It’s just a difficult position for many of these actors to be in, as they are having to look ahead to the start of new seasons while also knowing that there is this cloud hanging over their network that is certainly rather hard to avoid. CBS is doing its best to move forward, but even this week there has been plenty of news regarding Moonves’ wife Julie Chen and her leaving her role on The Talk.
New episodes of Bull season 3 are going to premiere on Monday, September 24 on CBS, and we’re planning full coverage of that. As we get a little more distance from Moonves’ departure, it may be easier for all actors at the network to move forward.
