The Blacklist season 6: When should NBC release first trailer?
However, we’re still going to be stuck waiting for a rather long time in order to see it. NBC has not exactly tipped their cap all that much when it comes to many things related to the show, whether it be the specific plot details for what’s ahead or even all of the guest stars. We’ve gotten a few of them sprinkled in here or there, but that’s about it. There are many mysteries still lingering out there, and we are waiting to see precisely what is happening with those.
So when could NBC start to answer some of those questions in the form of a trailer? That’s something that we’d certainly want to see sooner rather than later, but there is no precisely evidence that it’s going to be coming soon. With the series likely not returning until January, there is fundamentally no need for the network to start handing out the goods right now. They can wait on the reveal for a little while and simply focus on some other shows. If they release the trailer too early, they run the risk that people forget about the show. If they release it too late, however, then there is not enough buildup.
It is with that in mind that we personally feel like you’re probably going to be seeing a trailer at some point in December. That feels like the perfect window to both reintroduce viewers to the show and also to get them excited for some of what’s coming up next. As for what should be in said trailer, we don’t think that you really have to look any further beyond just including some great teases about the big cliffhanger where Reddington is an imposter, coupled with what Liz is planning to do from there. It’s beyond compelling and well worth the price of admission.
