NCIS season 16 photo: Are Torres and Palmer behind bars?
If you look below, you can see a new behind-the-scenes photo (via Brian Dietzen) that makes you wonder many different questions. Take, for example, why Palmer has what appears to be either ketchup / mustard stains or paint on his shirt? Oh, and of course there is also the fact that the two characters are seemingly in jail in the first place!

If we were to put on our thinking cap here when it comes to this photo, we’d remind you of the press release we shared earlier today, one that indicated that Dietzen and Wilmer Valderrama’s characters were going to have to face some consequences for what happened the night prior. If this photo is from that same episode (which is the second one of the season), it’s possible that the two got themselves into quite a bit of trouble – perhaps they are in the drunk tank?. It’s either that or they just committed some other shenanigans, potentially in the midst of a case, that have landed the two of them in this position. They’re probably going to need some help from the team in getting them out … at least if this is what we think it is.
We certainly imagine that this could also just be a case of them taking a fun pose behind bars for the heck of it and it means nothing. That’s what happens sometimes when you try to extrapolate some sort of deep meaning from what may just be these guys having some fun.

No matter what is going on here, at least you know that there are some answers coming your way sooner rather than later. The latest season of NCIS premieres on Tuesday, September 25, which is only a week from Tuesday night!
