Game of Thrones alum Finn Jones offers up series finale theory

Game of Thrones -

How is the Game of Thrones series finale going to end? It’s something that many people out there want answers to!

Yet, at the same time it’s not something that anyone really wants answers to, since getting that also means at the same time that some of the fun of the show is ruined. Think of this as one of those things that you claim you really want but, in reality, you’re so much happier when you get the ending without it being spoiled.

Speaking in a new interview with People Live, we have a feeling that former series star Finn Jones (who is now the lead over on Iron Fist) feels the same way. Yet, he has no problem speculating as to what he thinks that the ending will be! Just take a look at some of his comments below:

“I basically don’t think there will be a throne anymore, and I don’t think there will be a centralized seat of power. I think power will be given back to the individual kingdoms, so more like a democratic rule. But I think that is probably a bit too utopian for Game of Thrones. I think eventually what will happen is just everyone will die.”

Right when you thought you were getting a somewhat-optimistic answer to the question, he then hits you with the “everyone will die” part of it. This is obviously the saddest ending possible for the series, but when you really think about it, this is also an ending that makes sense. Eventually, everyone will die and there’s not all that much of a spoiler in there. If they’re going to die soon, we could envision a conclusion in which many of the heroes sacrifice themselves so that others can live.
